The UK is a vital consumer market for any quality wine producer with global aspirations.
At the same time there are no fixed `routes to market` or set distribution channels; consequently the UK presents a confused and sometimes frustrating challenge for the Exporter wishing to build its UK distribution or have its wines listed at some of the finest London Hotels.

Over 30 years I have advised companies of the most suitable way for them to approach this market; I have written a detailed study for a major foreign company wishing to build a 1m+ wine brand in the UK and sat in the kitchen of a wonderful wine grower discussing (over a glass of wine!) how best to place their 100 cases in the London market.

Now that I have sold my company I am completely free of any commercial ties or constraints and am therefore able to offer impartial and unbiased advice as to how to go about selling into this difficult market.
